Selah:

The term Selah is mentioned 74 times in the Old Testament. Most of those references are found in Psalms. Selah was a time to stop, listen, meditate, and respond. It was a time during worship to pause and think about what was being sung and/or said. This is exactly what we want our ministry to be for young adults- a time to push pause on life and stop, listen, and respond to the voice of God. We are so extremely busy in today's society, but we believe it is vital to priortize times to slow down, reflect, and intentionally connect to God.

Our Mission:

We desire to be committed to Christ, connected in community, and strategic in service.

Our Values:

1. Committed To Christ- We desire that everyone who is involved in the Selah ministry become more committed to Christ. The main avenue to accoomplish this value is through our Tuesday night worship gathering.
2. Connected To Community- We desire that everyone become more deeply connected in community. We will accomplish this value by placing people in small groups that will meet twice per month at various places in Bradley County.
3. Strategic In Service- We desire that everyone involved in our ministry serve our community through strategically coordinated endeavors. Our intentional focus will change each semester. We will have a monthly strategic service project.
