Aerobics Classes...For 2010. This is the best deal in town and spiritual encouragement as a bonus!!! Class #1 -Seniors (Low-impact)...Has begun and is going great. Be sure to bring one can good to share with our Manna Ministry for class payment. Our class is M,W,F, at 10:45am - 11:45am. Instructor: Susan Kimball Class #2 - Ladies Step Aerobics will be on M,W,F from 9:00am - 10:00am. Cost: $3.00 per visit, 10/$25.00 or 20/$40.00 Instructor: Amy Smith

Fitness Room Memberships... Renewal Time Is Upon Us For 2010... come work out at the Recreation Minsitry Fitness Room. We are excited to share that we have been able to keep the fees the same as 2009. That’s right our fees are the same to better serve you. Many have asked what do the fees go toward? They include facility use, extended hours of use, equipment repair/upgrades, additional employees, towel service and security. 2010 Fees: FBC Member $25.00 year per person FBC Student (student ID needed) $15.00 year FBC Senior Adult (55+) $15.00 year per person

Faith - Fitness - Mission... Going on a soon-to-come mission trip? Many times we make plans to go to the mission field and are not physically prepared to do what is needed and required by those we are assisting. In your experience, you may be walking for miles, faced with uneven terrain, on your feet for multiple hours, late hours and other possible physical demands. At the FBC Recreation Ministry we have taken this concern to heart and we want to help. As you plan for your next mission adventure we want you to be God's best for your service to Him and those you will be ministering too. So this is what we have done... If you are a first Baptist Member and taking a soon-to-come mission trip, we are offering to you a FREE trial membership to the Wellness Ministry Fitness Room at the Recreation Facility. This trial begins as soon as the mission trip is confirmed on the Church calendar and the ministry leader sends us a list of those attending. You will need to come fill out the Faith-Fitness-Mission FBC Member Enrollment Card before you can begin. This fitness room trial ends upon the start date of your mission trip. However, we would love to hear your story and for you to join the Fitness Room upon your return. Sounds Good! Come join us.

Adult Church League Indoor Soccer...This years league is for Church teams from around Cleveland for adults 16 and older. Registration is taking place now until Wednesday, March 9. Complete registration and payment is needed to complete registration. Games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning March 25 at 6:00pm, 7:00pm and 8:00pm. Cost per team $100.00 (maximum 10 players). Thursday Night Adult Church League Volleyball…games now taking place. Needlework Classes...Saturdays from 10:00am - 12:00pm in Room 105 off the Cafe' are on the main campus. RSVP on class participation/attendance is necessary by calling Ruth Beeler at 423.478.1374 prior to the class. This class includes all types of needlework with endless possibilities.
Scrapbooking...has begun again led by our very own Paula Pierce one Friday each month from 6:30pm - 9:30pm. Our next classes meet: February 5, March 12, April 9, May 7 in room 105 of the main campus. Interested contact Mrs. Paula at 706.264.5841
Other Ideas...? Do you have a special talent in doing an Art or Craft? Are you willing and able to teach that to others? The Arts and Crafts Ministry is looking for gifted crafters willing to share their skill, passion and love for Christ through this fun leisure avenue. Contact Rev. Camp Cherokee "Free Stay" Registration...beginning May 1 - October 24. Any on record FBC Member can stay free at Camp overnight with advance registration and confirmation of your stay. Please see the FBC Member "Free Stay" Registration Packet for registration specifics. Packets are available at the Recreation Ministry Facility. Family Reunions/Non-FBC Members and Groups...there is still room, but openings will fill-up quickly.
