Counseling Ministry

First Baptist Church is pleased to offer individual, family, premarital and marital counseling.  We currently have two ministers available for counseling:

Dr. Allan Lockerman is Co-Pastor of First Baptist Church.  Pastor Allan received his BS from the University of Georgia; his Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary; his Doctor of Ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

Mike Waldrop is a licensed marriage and family counselor.  Mike is a graduate of Carson-Newman College and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity degree in family ministry and counseling.

Mike also facilitates life skills support classes such as Divorce Care, Grief Share, and Celebrate Recovery.
