Each year, First Baptist has two reading programs. Incentives are offered to encourage you to read Christian Literature. Participants in previous programs have realized many benefits for joining us each year. A love and excitement is created for reading due to the reward system. Christian materials are offered that are entertaining as well as Biblically-based. These have led to salvations and spiritual recommitments for some families.
Here is a list of some book club themes we have collected over the years. It is often easier to work with another person or a small group of library workers. Look over a list like this. Does something "jump out" at you? Play off that idea. Change the title. Decide decorations and incentives. Mostly, PRAY! God will reveal HIS focus for your ministry.
